Enhancing the efficiency and durability of machines by controlling friction and wear is receiving an enormous and increasing significance in modern industrial applications. New stringent environmental legislations oblige companies and OEMs to enhance the efficiency of products to comply with higher loads, lower viscosities and restricted lubricant ingredients. To efficiently address this demand, the clever combination of design methodologies, new materials, modern lubricants and additives have to be realised. New lubricants and additives have to be tailored for new materials and the other way round the lubricants and additives have to be considered as design criteria.
The Programme Planning Committee of the 21st international Colloquium Tribology, as one of the world-wide largest international conferences in Tribology, is attempting the goal to provide a forum for technical and scientific exchange between lubricant and additive manufacturers, automotive OEMs, component manufacturers, suppliers, research organizations and universities.
This two day event will attempt to address current challenges in productivity through Tribology and materials and surface coatings and will provide an update of the latest developments in materials analysis equipment in this field.
About this event
This two day event will address the current Tribology Challenges in the field of productivity through Tribology, along with the developments of materials and surface coatings. This event will bring together leading members from the community to hear key information from our invited speakers. Alongside this there is an opportunity to view the posters entered into the competition and an opportunity to interact with the exhibitors on show.
The 2nd International Conference on Tribology TURKEYTRIB’18 will be held from 18 to 20 April 2018 at the Elite World Prestige Hotel – Taksim-İstanbul-TURKEY. TURKEYTRIB’18 is organized by PROMECH TEKNOLOJİ VE BİLİŞİM SİST. SAN. TİC. LTD. ŞTİ. İstanbul – TURKEY. The scope of this conference embraces the state of art and future trends in tribology research and application, emphasizing the necessity of facilitation intellectual collaboration across both disciplinary and national-international boundaries. The main objective of the conference is to provide a unique opportunity of presenting and discussing recent developments in different aspects of Tribology and strengthen the linkage between academia and industry. The conference consists of scientific sessions, symposia on specific topics, exhibitions and various collateral events. Turkish and Foreign groups of experts will have chance to share information and get in touch with other groups in all part of Tribology. Nowadays these aspects are becoming more and more important both in respect of human life and environment.
Nordtrib is a bi-yearly conference organized by our Scandinavian colleagues. Every 2 years one of the tribology research groups in Denmark, Norway, Sweden or Finland hosts the event. In 2018 it is Sweden’s turn!
Applications for this meeting must be submitted by May 27, 2018. Please apply early, as some meetings become oversubscribed (full) before this deadline. If the meeting is oversubscribed, it will be stated here. Note: Applications for oversubscribed meetings will only be considered by the Conference Chair if more seats become available due to cancellations.
7th International Conference on Fracture Fatigue and Wear, 9-10 July 2018, Ghent University, Belgium
The seventh international conference on Fracture, Fatigue and Wear (FFW 2018) will be held in the city of Ghent, Belgium. The overall objective of the conference is to bring together international scientists and engineers in academia and industry in fields related to Fracture Mechanics, Fatigue of Materials, Tribology and Wear of Materials. The conference covers industrial engineering applications of the above topics including theoretical and analytical methods, numerical simulations and experimental techniques. One of the aims of conference is to promote cooperation between international scientists and engineers from a large number of disciplines, who are involved in research related to Fracture, Fatigue and Wear.
EMCR is an international conference about corrosion electrochemistry, held in various countries since 1982. The single-session format means you can catch all the presentations and not miss out on anything. The whole event is held at a single venue along with social events and accommodation, giving you plenty of time to get to know others in your field.
