can you please send the contact pressure code with values. Because i am writing a code for dry contact model using FFT in bearing for calculating pressure distribution and stresses.

And I did not understand how to chose target pressure p and gap g in half space elastic contact.

Below I written the algorithm for which I am facing problem.

The numerical algorithm employed to find the pressures from equation (2)is also described in reference [13] and is as follows. Beginning with a guess for the matrix p which meets the equality and inequality constraints (a uniform pressure ptarget is convenient), then

1. Calculate a candidate pressure matrix p = p − grad{f (p)}. In general, p will violate the constraints. grad{f (p)} = u(p) + g, for f quadratic.

2. Shift p uniformly up or down so that the sum of the positive pressures equals the target load.

3. Truncate all pi < 0, Thus, p meets all constraints. 4. Set p = p, and repeat until convergence.

Regarding the code posted, I’m wondering what the initial value for r should be (the rigid body interference value)
