Gasteig Cultural and Conference Centre in Munich, Germany

OHB and ESA are delighted to host the 18th bi-annual European Space Mechanisms and Tribology Symposium for 2019 in Germany. It will be held in Munich, Bavaria, and is being organised by OHB.

The symposium will be held at the Gasteig Cultural and Conference Centre in Munich from the 18th-20th September 2019 and welcomes Space mechanism professionals and industry leaders from around the globe.

ESMATS is recognised as the premier vehicle for Mechanisms Engineers, experienced and new recruits, to come together to discuss and celebrate their successes and lessons learnt, with a view to pooling their knowledge for the betterment of this unique community and the European Space industry as a whole.

Held bi-annually, ESMATS alternates in collaboration with its sister event in the USA – The Aerospace Mechanisms Symposium.

As with previous years the 2019 symposium will encompass 2 1/2 days of exhibition and conference proceedings in the Gasteig Cultural and Conference Centre’s state-of-the-art auditorium followed by a half day tour of OHB’s manufacturing and test facilities in Munich. The gala dinner will be a Bavarian style banquet.
