After being postponed due to COVID, the Tribology Gordon Research Conference (GRC) and Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) are back! They will both be held this summer at Bates College in Lewiston ME, USA. The GRS will be held June 25-26, 2022. The GRC dates are June 26 – July 1, 2022.
The deadline to apply is very close – May 29, 2022. Students/young researchers are encouraged to apply to attend the accompanying Gordon Research Seminar.
The conference program for the GRC been set and is available on the GRC website: https://www.grc.org/tribology-conference/2022/
The program for the GRS has not been finalized yet but the tentative session titles are: Broad Impacts of Tribology, Fundamentals of Tribology, and The Cutting Edge of Tribology.
We expect to have funding to cover the GRS registrations for all participants and hope to be able to cover a portion of the GRC registration for the GRS participants. We need your help to make this a successful meeting.
