The 9th Tribochemistry Satellite Forum

The 9th Tribochemistry Satellite Forum will be held in Beaune, France, from 6th to 8th July, 2022. For obvious reasons, the meeting has been moved from its originally planned date in 2021, and will, as originally planned, immediately proceed the 7th World Tribology Conference in Lyon, France (July 10-15, 2022).

Previous Tribochemistry Satellite meetings have been organized since 1995 in connection with Japanese International Tribology Conferences in Tokyo (1995), Tsukuba (2000), Nara (2005), Hagi (2011), Nikko (2015), and Hakodate (2019) and the World Tribology Conferences in Kyoto, Japan (2009) and Lyon, France (2013).

This meeting is organized by Swiss Tribology in the historic city of Beaune, in the Burgundy region of France, within easy reach of Paris and Lyon.

The venue for the meeting is the Beaune Palace of Congresses, which is within walking distance of many hotels. In addition to being able to visit the many cultural and gastronomic attractions in Beaune, attendees will have the opportunity to dine at the Chateau de Gilly for the welcome banquet.

The meeting will begin with a welcome reception on the evening of 5th July. The 6th July will consist of a full day of presentations, followed by the welcome banquet. The 7th July will consist of presentations and a free evening. The 8th July (Friday) includes a half day of presentations, and ends after lunch.
