The new platform is easier to access and creates a better exam experience

Park Ridge, Illinois (July 9, 2024) ─ The Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE) — the technical society serving individuals, companies and organizations that comprise the tribology and lubrication engineering business sector — is pleased to announce the launch of its new certification exam software.

STLE offers four technical certification programs: Certified Lubrication Specialist™ (CLS), Certified Metalworking Fluids Specialist™ (CMFS) and Certified Oil Monitoring Analyst I™ & Certified Oil Monitoring Analyst II™ (OMA I and II). Each certification helps advance your career in tribology and lubrication engineering.

The new certification exam platform works through your browser the same way as one of the STLE webinars, Industry Insights or short courses to eliminate any site blocking or firewalls. Since STLE has already been using this platform for the learning management system, it is more recognizable and familiar to navigate to take exams. You also get immediate feedback on your exam to celebrate success or identify areas for further mastery.

“The new software makes it easier than ever to take a certification exam,” said Rebecca Lintow, CAE, STLE executive director. “There are no downloads or codes—just log in, pick a time and take the exam.”
